Did you know that we should be eating 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables per day? Most of us only eat about half of this quantity. The benefits of eating fruit and vegetables not only contributes to good health, it helps us maintain a healthy weight and protects us against diseases so it is 100 percent necessary.

A lot of us already know this but with our busy lives we tend to stop putting our health as a priority. We are finding it more and more difficult to prepare and eat fresh fruit and vegetables. Here is an easy way to help you achieve your 2 & 5 per day....

Blend it up and drink it! This is an easy option because you can cut up all your fruit and vegetables in advance and then in the morning before you start your day blend it up (I use a NutriBullet rather than a juicer because it keeps all the nutrients in it). There are lots of different juices you can make using: strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mangoes, pineapples, bananas, apples, oranges, spinach, kale, beetroot, cucumber and carrot.
